Today’s Special Occasion: National Pet Day

It's April 11, and today is National Pet Day.  You may recall that yesterday celebrated siblings, and today celebrates another important member of many families.  If your academic career has gone to the dogs, don't despair.  We offer individual online middle school courses, online high school courses and high school correspondence courses for credit recovery.  Many students take those courses and ultimately graduate on time with their classes.  Others will earn a high school diploma at home alongside their dogs, cats, rabbits, fish or other pets by enrolling in our general high school or college preparatory program.  We look forward to being your school of choice, so enroll today!

Today’s Special Occasion: Siblings Day

It's April 10, and today our blog is celebrating Siblings Day.  You may know that more than three million students have earned a high school diploma thanks to our accredited high school courses, and we're willing to bet that many of our graduates are siblings of other American School graduates.  Once one family member enrolls in our online high school diploma program or correspondence high school diploma program, other family members see that student succeed and then decide to enroll too.  We're pleased to serve many siblings and count them among our graduates.  To make the same thing happen in your household, we invite you to enroll today!

American School Welcomes Board of Trustees

American School is proud to welcome its Board of Trustees to our headquarters for their semi-annual meeting.  According to our by-laws, members of our Board of Trustees govern the School and elect full-time employees to operate the School on a daily basis.  We are grateful to have Trustees who live close to the School but also far away in all four directions.  Their locations are testimony to the fact that American School serves people in all 50 states.  Students in all corners of the country enjoy our online high school courses, high school correspondence courses and online middle school courses, and this fall we're proud to introduce middle school correspondence courses as well as honors and AP courses.  We're grateful for our Board of Trustees, and our students and graduates should be as well since the Trustees always have the students' best interests at heart.
