This course is designed to meet the needs of those who wish to earn a high school diploma and are planning to attend college or a professional school having similar entrance requirements. The following units are required of all students in this program (unless they have been previously completed elsewhere).

The three elective units may be selected

List of High School Subjects page. In choosing their electives students
should keep in mind the specific entrance requirements of the college to
which they plan
to apply. Some colleges and universities, for example, may require additional units in
math, science and/or a foreign language. We recommend that students maintain an average
grade of 85% for college entrance.
- COLLEGE ADMISSION
It is the responsibility of the college-bound student to make application for college admission. The American School will give a student guidance as to entrance requirements and will, on request, send a transcript of high school credits to the college of the student's choice.
