American School Celebrates 122nd Anniversary

It's December 17, and today is our 122nd anniversary.  We received our charter on this date way back in 1897, and our founder R.T. Miller would probably be surprised to see what we've become in 2019.  High school correspondence courses have always been an important part of us, and we have no plans to eliminate them even as we expand our online high school courses and online middle school courses.  One thing that hasn't changed is that American School has always been willing to serve those individuals who cannot attend traditional school for whatever reason.  We allow our students to work when and where it is convenient for them, and although students work on their courses independently, they are never alone.  Our staff is always available for assistance.  In this past year, we debuted a new high school diploma program and new enrollment applications for our accredited middle school program, accredited high school program and individual subjects which sometimes are taken through our independent study high school program and other times for enrichment.  We have more changes planned for the coming year, and you can take part in them and help us celebrate our anniversary by enrolling today.  You'll be joining more than three million others who have made American School their school of choice!
