American School to Present at USDLA National Conference

American School is attending the USDLA National Conference this week in St. Louis, and this afternoon Eve Tselepatiotis of our Curriculum Department will give a presentation titled Mobile Learning: Successful Strategies for Expanding and Enhancing Learning Opportunities.  The official description of the presentation reads "Mobile learning has changed 21st Century education.  Educational institutions and educators must meet challenges with strategies to enhance and expand learning opportunities for students. How can mobile learning improve success within your school? Learn to navigate this new educational landscape with successful strategies to evaluate and choose effective mobile options" and the presentation will take place from 3:15-4:15 p.m. in Gateway 2 at the Hilton St. Louis at the Ballpark.  We are happy to offer online high school courses and online middle school courses, but students in our high school correspondence courses can use their mobile devices to access our Online Student Center, where they can check their grades and receive assistance in their courses.  We are happy to be associated with the USDLA and hope our presentation benefits its members.
