In this online Introduction to Culinary Arts course, students learn about food, food culture, food history, food safety and current food trends. Students also learn about the food service industry and will attempt to prepare culinary delights. Through hands-on activities and in-depth study of the culinary arts field, this course will help students hone their cooking skills and give them the opportunity to explore careers in the food industry.
