This course provides an introduction to horticulture, whether you plan to join the industry or just improve your own home gardening skills. Students will encounter information on a variety of topics, including plant science, horticultural biology, plant nutrition and soil management, plant propagation, horticultural practices, such as greenhouse operations and field cultivation, landscaping, floral design, lawn maintenance, and pest management. Throughout the course, students will also learn about various career options available in the horticulture industry.

This full credit course has eight units and eight exams.
