New Grading Policy Takes Effect July 1

Today's blog contains an important notice regarding a change in grading procedures that will take effect July 1, 2019.  In order to receive credit for any individual submission (exam, assignment, project, etc.) in high school correspondence courses, online high school courses, middle school correspondence courses or online middle school courses, a student must receive a grade of 65 or higher.  A student who does not earn a score of 65 or higher on the first attempt on any course submission will be given up to two additional attempts. If that student does not earn a score of 65 or higher by the third attempt, the highest of the three grades will stand. No student will receive more than three attempts on a course submission.  Students must pass a course with an overall grade of 65 or better in order to receive credit.  Please contact our Student Service department if you have any questions or concerns.  Thank you for your cooperation and understanding as we make changes to better serve our students.
