We've done a lot of reminders in our first week of 2016 blogs, and today we have another. We are grateful to have so many likes and followers on our Facebook and Twitter pages, but we expect people who like and follow us to adhere to certain guidelines. As stated on our Facebook page, "We reserve the right to remove posts if deemed to be offensive material, harassments or advertisements. We also reserve the right to permanently ban users who post such material.". This policy is in place to ensure the safety of all those who visit our social media pages. In accordance with American School's honor system, we prohibit sharing answers on our social media pages as well. In fact, we ask that you do not discuss any personal information about yourself on our social media pages. There is contact information on our social media pages that you can use to send your account question directly to us, and we will reply promptly. Finally, while we are indeed grateful to have so many likes and followers, we like to remind people from time to time just who they are liking and following. We are American School located in Lansing, Illinois, a leader in distance education since 1897, and we are proud to offer the accredited high school courses you need at a cost you can afford. We do not represent the entire American schooling or American education system, nor do we assist with acquiring visas for those who live in foreign countries and may wish to come to the United States to study. Again, we reserve the right to remove and/or ban such users who we believe like us solely for those purposes. Thank you for your cooperation in allowing us to use our social media sites effectively and keep them safe for our students.
