As Curriculum Director of the
American School, Roberta Allen works with staff members to revise, up-date and expand
course offerings. Ms. Allen earned her B.A. and M.A. degrees in History from the
University of Chicago. She has also done extensive graduate work in the field of
education.
Ms. Allen came to the American School in 1968
as an instructor and subsequently was in charge of its guidance program. She is the author
of numerous study guides and the textbook, Planning Your Career
In addition to her experience at the American
School, Ms. Allen helped run a large tutoring project in Chicago, taught in the Chicago
Public School System, and administered a video learning program for the City Colleges of
Chicago. |
