It’s December 14, and Alabama became a state on this date in 1819. When doing research for today’s blog, we were surprised to discover that Alabama’s largest city is not Birmingham or Montgomery. It’s actually Huntsville, and when we think of Huntsville, we think of Space Camp. Over the years, many students have had great experiences at Space Camp, and more than 3 million students have had great experiences with American School since our founding in 1897. We allow students to explore new worlds in core subject areas like English, math, science and social studies and in elective areas such as business, career and technical education, fine arts and world languages. Middle school courses and high school courses are available in print and online formats, which ensure students are happy campers because they can learn in a way that is most comfortable to them. If you’re looking for homeschool courses or independent study courses in Alabama or any other state, enroll today. We will do our best to ensure you have an out of this world experience as an American School student!
