Today’s Anniversary: Public Radio Broadcasting

It's January 13, and the first public radio broadcast happened on this date in 1910.  It was an opera performance that occurred in New York City.  This anniversary got us thinking about the different media we use to try to reach new students who might be interested in our accredited middle school program or accredited high school program.  We haven't done many radio or television ads, but we've always had a big presence in magazines.  Years ago we advertised in mainstream magazines, but now we focus on publications geared toward homeschoolers or education professionals.  We advertise a lot on homeschool or education web sites, and we also advertise in person when we attend conventions.  All of those advertising options combined do not equal our best form of advertising, which is word of mouth.  If someone is satisfied with the education and service he or she received from us, he or she will likely tell a family member or friend.  We are happy so many people have made us their distance education high school or middle school, and we invite you to do the same.  Enroll today!
