Today’s Anniversary: Spam

It's July 5, and the canned meat product known as Spam was introduced on this date in 1937.  These days spam is a common term for junk email, so today's blog is going to talk about that.  We know that different emails have different spam filters, and we don't want you to miss any important emails we send  you.  Therefore, we ask that you mark @americanschool.org and @americanschoolofcorr.com as safe email domains.  We use the @americanschool.org and @americanschoolofcorr.com domains to send you information about your accredited online high school courses, accredited online middle school courses, accredited print high school courses and accredited print middle school courses.  We also use them to address any customer service or billing questions you might have.  We want to be the best distance education high school and middle school for you, and we never want you to think we neglect you or don't reply to any emails you send us.  Marking the @americanschool.org and @americanschoolofcorr.com domains as not spam will help us do that.  On the other hand, we don't want to miss any important emails you send us.  Therefore we ask that when you write us, you include your name and student number in the body of the email and make sure your email has a concise subject line.  Please do not write your entire message in the subject line, but instead use the body of the email for that.  Thank you for your cooperation and for being our student!
