Today’s Anniversary: The Astrodome

It's April 9, and our blog is back!  On this date in 1965, the Astrodome opened.  It was called the 8th wonder of the world, and although the Astros moved to Minute Maid Park many years ago, the Astrodome still stands.  In fact, those of us who attended a convention last year in Houston saw the Astrodome from above as our plane flew over it before we landed at Hobby Airport.  We had a good time at conventions in Cincinnati, Kansas City and San Antonio last week, and it won't be too long before we head back to Houston for a convention there.  In the meantime, though, we have two more conventions later this week.  It's a busy time of year, but we're happy to be on the road introducing people to our online high school courses, high school correspondence courses and online middle school courses.  Come back tomorrow to see where we're headed first this week!
