Today’s Anniversary: The Telephone

It's March 7, and on this date in 1876, Alexander Graham Bell received a patent for his telephone.  The American School receives hundreds of telephone calls each day.  Some of them are from prospective students who are interested in learning more about our accredited high school program, independent study high school program or accredited middle school program.  Others are from people who have an online or correspondence high school diploma from us and need their records sent to another school.  Most of them, however, are from students currently taking print or online high school courses or print or online middle school courses with us.  We're happy to receive these calls and answer them as quickly as possible.  If we have to return your call, we do so within one business day.  It's important to leave your full name and student number if you have to leave a message.  Doing so will help us find you in our record system and provide you with timely service.  If you need to call us for any reason, please do so at 708-418-2800.  We're here Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Central Time and we'd be happy to assist you however we can.
