Today’s Anniversary: The Wall Street Journal

It's July 8, and the Wall Street Journal published its first issue on this date in 1889.  In addition to having challenging puzzles in its weekend edition, the newspaper is a leading source of information for those individuals particularly interested in money and the markets at home and overseas.  The American School has several investments which are managed by a leading wealth management firm with a great reputation.  We trust them to manage our investments because our investments help ensure a bright future for us and our students.  We've been a leading distance education high school and middle school for more than a century and want to be one of the best distance education high schools and middle schools for centuries to come.  When our investments do well, we reinvest our earnings into projects that will benefit our students and staff.  Adding a new platform for online high school courses and online middle school courses while maintaining our current platform for the next year is one example of how we use investments to help our students.  Making much-needed repairs and upgrades to our office building is a way our staff benefits from us having solid investments.  One of the best investments you can make for yourself is an investment in your education, and our non-profit status ensures you can spend money on education and still have some left over to invest in the stock market if you so choose.  Enroll today!
