Today’s Anniversary: Wilt Chamberlain Scores 100 Points

It's March 2, and on this date in 1962, Wilt Chamberlain scored 100 points to lead the Philadelphia 76ers past the New York Knicks by a score of 169-147.  Even in today's fast-paced, high-scoring NBA, to have a player score 100 points in a game by himself is quite an accomplishment and one that has not been duplicated.  Kobe Bryant came the closest when he scored 81 points in a game midway through his career.  The number 100 has a great significance for American School students because the maximum score they can receive on their exams is 100.  We know it's difficult to get 100 on every exam, which is why we have several methods of assistance for our students in our accredited online high school courses, high school correspondence courses, online middle school courses and middle school correspondence courses.  First, our instructors give helpful feedback on every exam they grade.  Second, students can use their books or other materials when they take their exams.  Third, our Online Student Center contains help sheets and links to homework web sites.  You can receive this type of assistance and try to shoot for 100 yourself after you enroll and become our student!
