It’s April 1, and today is April Fools’ Day. It is a day often associated with pranks and jokes, but going through life without an accredited high school diploma is no laughing matter. A high school diploma can open doors to attending the college or university of your choice or can prepare you for the career of your choice. Studies have shown that over their lifetimes, people without a high school diploma make far less money than their peers who do have a high school diploma, and that is just one of many reasons why you should earn a high school diploma. If you’ve been wanting to get your high school diploma for a long time but think it’s too late, you’re fooling yourself. American School accepts students of all ages, and we give academic and financial credit for high school credits earned at other accredited schools. We also allow students to choose a high school diploma program that is best for them, either a general high school program if you plan to join the workforce or attend a community college or a college preparatory program if you plan to attend a four-year university. On this April Fools’ Day, we encourage you to make the smart move and enroll with American School. You’ll be glad you did, and we’d be glad if you come back here Monday when we will post our next blog entry.
