Today’s Special Occasion: The Ides of March

It's March 15, also known as the Ides of March.  Today is the traditional date of the death of Julius Caesar, who was told to beware the Ides of March but went to the Roman Senate anyway and met his demise there.  You may think Latin is a dead language, but that's hardly the case.  Latin 1 can be beneficial to you in so many ways.  Not only will you learn about fascinating people like Julius Caesar, but you'll also learn about the many ways Latin has impacted the English language.  By the end of the course, you'll be a better writer, and the course can be beneficial if you plan a career in medicine or law.  Latin 1 is one of the high school correspondence courses that many other schools do not offer, but we do.  We offer a wide variety of courses that would be great fits in your college preparatory program or general high school program, or you can take them individually as part of our independent study high school program.  Make the Ides of March a day to remember and enroll today!
