American School will be closed Monday, February 20, in observance of Presidents Day. We will reopen with regular business hours on Tuesday, February 21. Although American School has had presidents of its own for more than a century, Monday’s holiday refers to Presidents of the United States. A great way to make your middle school courses and high school courses come to life is by visiting a presidential library. You’ll learn a great deal about the president’s life and the challenges and accomplishments of his time in office while you’re there, and presidential libraries are scattered throughout the country, often in the president’s home state, so one is probably within driving distance of your home. If an in-person trip is not possible, visit a presidential library virtually by choosing one from the list on this site. Thank you for making us your distance education middle school or distance education high school and have a great weekend!
