Caroline Wozniacki Reaches Australian Open Final

American School student Caroline Wozniacki advanced to her first Australian Open final with a 6-3, 7-6 win over Elise Mertens.  The championship match will feature the top two seeds in the tournament since top-seeded Simona Halep won her semifinal match.  Neither Caroline nor Simona has ever won a Grand Slam event, but each has two runner-up finishes in majors.  Whoever wins the championship match scheduled for Saturday night in Australia (very early Saturday morning in the United States) will be the #1 player in the world when the new rankings are released on Monday.  We're proud of Caroline, but we're proud of all of our students who strive to be #1 in whatever field they choose.  More than three million students have taken our high school correspondence courses, online high school courses and online middle school courses, and many of them have gone on to have great success in a variety of fields.  We can do the same for you.  Enroll today and let us help you reach all of your goals, and check back tomorrow as we review American School's long history of champions Down Under.
