Caroline Wozniacki Wins in First Round of French Open

American School student Caroline Wozniacki won her first round match in this year's French Open by defeating Jaimee Fourlis of Australia in three sets.  The scores were 6-4, 3-6, 6-2.  Caroline moves on to face Francoise Abanda of Canada in the second round.  You may be interested to know that American School offers French 1 and French 2 as part of our wide variety of high school correspondence courses.  We also offer French as one of our online high school courses thanks to a partnership with Rosetta Stone.  We're happy to have Caroline as a student in our accredited high school program and look forward to following her throughout the tournament.
