International Holocaust Remembrance Day

It's January 27, and today is International Holocaust Remembrance Day.  January 27 has that distinction because it was on this day in 1945 that Russian forces began to liberate the Auschwitz concentration camp in Poland.  The Holocaust is one of the most horrendous events in human history but also one that is worthy of study.  That's why we offer a History of the Holocaust course among our online high school courses.  Take it as a part of an accredited high school program or as part of an independent study high school program for credit recovery.  Also, if you're in Washington, D.C., consider visiting the United States Holocaust Museum.  Here at American School we do not treat anyone with malice because of religious beliefs, and we hope our world will do the same.
