Introducing Flashback Fridays

Since its inception in 2006, this blog has done its best to keep you up to date on what is happening at the American School.  In recent years, we've introduced Testimonial Thursdays, on which we feature some words from one of our students or graduates, and Method Test Prep Mondays, on which we discuss ACT-SAT matters thanks to our partners at Method Test Prep.  Today we're proud to introduce Flashback Fridays, on which we'll take a look back to see what was happening in a specifc month and year in the American School's long and glorious history.  Today's newsletter comes from June 1976.  When you click on the image below to enlarge the newsletter, you'll hear words of encouragement from William Hunding, whose life we remembered two days ago in this blog.  You'll also read about an update to the United States History course that was done in large part by Roberta Allen, who would go on to author our popular Planning Your Career course, as well as a couple other articles.  We hope you enjoy this new blog feature as much as we enjoy going through newsletters, photos and other archival material to find fun, relevant content for you.
