New Pricing Structure and Application for Individual Subjects

Today's blog has information about a new pricing structure for individual subjects that will go into effect on September 3.  Previously students who wished to take individual subjects as part of an independent study high school program filled out one application, while students who wished to take individual accredited high school courses or individual print or online middle school courses simply for enrichment filled out another application.  We're going to combine those two applications into one, and students who wish to enroll in courses to recover credit will need to fill out a special section on the application with pertinent school information.  At first, only printed applications will be available, but later in September or in October, students will be able to enroll online in individual subjects by going to the description of the course they wish to take and then adding that course to their shopping cart.  For your convenience, most individual subjects will be priced the same regardless of course delivery method.  The standard cost will be $300 for a full unit of credit and $250 for a half unit.  Some courses will be value-priced at $200 for a full unit of credit and $150 for a half unit, while AP courses and lab courses will be priced at $400 for a full unit of credit and $350 for a half unit.  As usual, all study materials and grading are included in the cost of tuition, and the enrollment fee on the previous independent study application has been eliminated.  If you have questions or comments about this new pricing and enrollment structure for individual subjects, please let us know.  We enjoy hearing from you and appreciate having the opportunity to serve you.  Thank you for making us your school of choice!
