This week's blogs have all revolved around the scholarship meeting held on Tuesday. Yesterday we shared some interesting facts about this year's finalists, and today we're happy to share oru finalists' college plans. Often we get asked if American School graduates can attend college after earning our diploma, and the answer is a resounding yes! Our finalists are currently attending college at Northern Virginia Community College, New York University-Tisch School of the Arts, Lorain County Community College, Iowa State University, Snead State College, Everett Community College, Montgomery College, Saint Francis University, BYU-Idaho, Chattahoocee Technical College, the Royal College of Music, the College of Dupage, the University of Munster (Germany), Andrews University, SUNY-Adirondack, Hillsborough Community College, Liberty University, Southwestern Illinois College, Owens Community College, Temple University, Palm Beach State College, Portland Community College, Rock Valley College and the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse. Possible future schools for our finalists include Johns Hopkins University, Andrews University, MIT, Georgetown University, Loyola University Chicago, Boston College, Saint Louis University, Montgomery College, George Washington University, Bluegrass Community & Technical College, George Mason University, Kennesaw State University, the University of Wisconsin-Madison, SUNY-Potsdam, the University of South Florida, Southern Illinois University, Ohio State University, Florida Atlantic University, the University of Hawaii and Knox College. We are proud that our graduates continue their education at fine schools such as those listed above, but the schools listed in this blog are not the only schools our graduates attend. We keep a more detailed list on file and are happy to assist any of our students with the college admissions process.
