Today’s Anniversary: Iowa

It’s December 28, and Iowa became a state on this date in 1846.  If you’re a regular blog reader, you know that we try to visit neighboring states often when travel is possible, but we’ve neglected Iowa.  When travel resumes, we’ll do our best to attend a convention in the Hawkeye State.  Some of you might be familiar with the movie “Field of Dreams” which takes place in Iowa.  American School’s broad curriculum and self-paced courses can help you prepare for a career in the field of your dreams.  We have business, career and technical education courses among our many online high school courses and high school correspondence courses.  Taking an automotive course or two, for example, would be a good idea if you wish to become an auto mechanic.  Taking a carpentry or printreading course would be beneficial if you want a career in construction.  The possibilities are endless.  Enroll today and you’ll see that there is nothing corny about making American School your distance education high school!
