Today’s Anniversary: The Compact Disc

It's March 8, and 40 years ago today the compact disc made its debut.  In the 1980s and 1990s, compact discs were state-of-the-art technology, but these days they are virtually obsolete.  At one time, some of our high school correspondence courses came with additional material on compact discs, but now that additional information is available online.  We do our best to have informative courses, whether they are on paper and sometimes require additional materials or whether they are online middle school courses or online high school courses and have all the necessary material on the computer.  People learn differently and we want to make sure they can learn in the ways that are most comfortable to them.  Compact discs may be on the road to extinction, but the American School is not.  We continue to evolve to best serve our students, and we would enjoy serving you as well.  Enroll today!
