It's August 29, and entertainer Michael Jackson was born on this day in 1958. Before he became tabloid fodder late in his life, he was perhaps the best entertainer many of us had ever seen. In tribute to him, we're going to do what we normally do when we celebrate a musician's birthday, and that is relate some of his song titles to the American School. It's "Human Nature" to have some questions about how homeschooling works and how the American School operates. That's why we've tried to make this Web site as user-friendly as possible. Visit the handy tabs and headings or click on the FAQ page to find the answer you're looking for, and if you can't find it, contact us via phone or email and we will respond within 1 business day. If you "Wanna Be Startin Somethin" and begin your high school education, you can do that easily by visiting our enrollment pages. There you will find online and printable applications for you to submit to us. Once you're enrolled, we hope that you enjoy your studies, but if you ever want to "Scream" because an answer or concept isn't "Black or White" you can call or email your instructor, and again we will respond with assistance within 1 business day. When you finish one course, it's important to keep going and "Don't Stop Til You Get Enough" credits to graduate. We require 18 units of credit in both our General High School and College Preparatory program, with room for electives in each program. At the end of your program, when you have completed all of your graduation requirements, if you feel like you "Got to Be There" to pick up your diploma in person, you can do that. We love when our graduates visit us and allow us to share in their accomplishment. Hopefully you thought this blog entry was a real "Thriller" but if not we'll be back tomorrow with an update on Anna Tatishvili's U.S. Open run.
Today’s Birthday: Michael Jackson
