American School’s Australian Open Championship Tradition

We've been following Caroline Wozniacki's run to the Australian Open final for the better part of two weeks, but if she wins the championship tomorrow, she won't be the first American School student to overcome all foes and win a Grand Slam event Down Under.  Andre Agassi won the men's singles event in 1995, 2000, 2001 and 2003, and Mary Pierce won the women's singles event in 1995 before adding a runner-up finish in 1997.  We're proud of Caroline, Andre and Mary, but we're proud of all of our students.  They're all part of a special kind of championship tradition that stems from our 121 years as a leading distance education high school.  When we started, no one could've imagined that we'd offer an online high school diploma for adults or children, and yet many people have earned our online high school diploma since we started offering that program a few years ago.  Of course, we're proud to offer a correspondence high school diploma program too, and later this year our accredited middle school program will consist of online and paper-based courses.  We'd be honored to include you join our tradition of excellence, and you can get started by enrolling today!

Today’s Anniversary: The Golden Gate Bridge

It's January 5, and construction on the Golden Gate Bridge began on this date in 1933.  You may think of the American School as a bridge from your current life to the life you've always wanted.  Studies have shown that high school graduates are more successful than those who never graduated from high school.  We offer an online high school diploma for adults or children in addition to a correspondence high school diploma.  Both consist of 18 units of credit, and monthly payment plans are available to make an already cost-effective tuition even more affordable.  Over the years we've helped more than 3 million people earn a high school diploma at home, and we want to include you in that number.  Enroll today and take the first step across the bridge to your bright future.

Today’s Anniversary: Scotch Tape

It's September 8, and 3M began marketing scotch tape on this date in 1930.  Scotch tape has many uses, but it is especially popular when it comes to wrapping birthday or Christmas presents.  Think of the best present or gift that you ever received.  Did it bring happiness to your life?  Probably.  Did it radically change your life for the better?  Maybe.  A high school diploma is the gift that keeps on giving.  Over time, people with a paper-based or online high school diploma earn hundreds of thousands of dollars more than their peers who do not have their diplomas.  An online high school diploma for adults or children or a correspondence high school diploma for adults or children can help you have the life you've always wanted.  In turn, your children and your family will have a better life.  Scotch tape also is transparent, and so is American School.  The terms and conditions of your enrollment in our accredited high school program are clearly described on the enrollment application, and there will be no surprises or hidden fees along the way.  Enroll today, and within four years you'll be able to unwrap the best gift of all: a high school diploma from American School.

U.S. Open Begins in New York

It's August 29, and today is the first day of the U.S. Open tennis tournament in New York.  American School students and graduates have been very successful in this event, none more than 1994 and 1999 champion Andre Agassi, who has runner-up finishes in 1990, 1995, 2002 and 2005 to go along with those two titles.  On the women's side, Mary Pierce was runner-up in 2005, and Caroline Wozniacki was runner-up in 2009 and 2014.  Many tennis players choose to earn a high school diploma at home with us because we offer flexibility.  All of our students work toward their correspondence high school diploma or online high school diploma for adults or children when and where it is convenient for them, whether that is at home, at a school or while traveling around the world competing in elite sporting events.  If you would like us to "serve" you, we'd be happy to have you as our student.  Enroll today!
