It’s April 5, and this weekend the NCAA Men’s Final Four will be held in Phoenix, while the NCAA Women’s Final Four will be held in Cleveland. Sadly, no American School students will have the opportunity to take the court in college basketball’s biggest events because at this time our accredited high school courses are not NCAA-approved. More information may be found on our FAQ page. When someone contacts us and asks about NCAA eligibility, we are honest and reply that in good conscience we cannot enroll a student into our high school diploma program or independent study high school program if the student plans to play college basketball or any other sport in college. Although we are disappointed that we cannot serve that student, we believe being open and honest is the proper thing to do.
