High School
American School is pleased to offer two different high school diploma programs for students in grades 9-12.
The General High School Program is designed for students who plan to earn their high school diplomas and then enroll in a two-year college or join the workforce after graduating.
The College Preparatory Program is designed for students who plan to attend a four-year college or university after graduating.
To earn American School’s accredited high school diploma, students must complete a total of 20 units of credit, 5 of which must be American School courses. American School accept credits from other accredited schools and offers comprehensive examinations in certain subjects for students who were homeschooled prior to becoming American School students.
A full year of high school for grade 9, 10, 11 or 12 consists of 5 units of credit at a cost of $900. Students may choose the course delivery method that is most comfortable to them–all print, all online, or a combination of the two. Tuition includes all study materials, grading, access to the Online Student Center and more. Monthly payment plans are available for students in full year high school programs.
