2024 National Girls and Women in Sports Day

It’s February 7, and today is National Girls and Women in Sports Day.  It’s the perfect occasion to mention some of the female athletes who’ve been enrolled in our accredited high school diploma program and took our online high school courses or paper-based high school courses.  These athletes include surfer Bethany Hamilton; tennis players Kathleen Horvath, Andrea Jaeger, Anna Kournikova, Mary Pierce and Caroline Wozniacki; swimmer Katie Hoff; and figure skaters Deanna Stellato and Tanya Street, just to name a few.  We are happy to count them among the more than three million students we’ve served since our founding in 1897, and we’d be happy to serve you as well even if you’re not athletically inclined.  Enroll today!

I found all the material and methods extremely satisfying.  It made the classes simple enough to learn while still being able to enjoy the process!  I spent my first two years of high school in a public school, but American School made it an enjoyable experience while still giving me the education I need.  My parents have never been so proud to see so many good grades coming from a homeschool program.

I especially liked and appreciated all of the instructors’ positive comments, feedback and helpful hints on my son’s exams.  You cannot put a price tag on a high school diploma, although I felt the fees were quite reasonable.  I’m really thankful that there is a back-up plan for students who are lacking credits to graduate.
