2026-2027 Year-End Break First Notice

Yesterday was the first full day of summer but we’re already looking ahead to winter.  Each year American School closes for a period of time at the end of the year, and this year American School’s last day of operations in 2026 will be Wednesday, December 23.  American School will be closed starting Thursday, December 24, and will reopen with regular business hours on Monday, January 4, 2027.  Please plan your homeschooling schedule accordingly.  Thank you for making us your distance education middle school or distance education high school.

I found all the material and methods extremely satisfying.  It made the classes simple enough to learn while still being able to enjoy the process!  I spent my first two years of high school in a public school, but American School made it an enjoyable experience while still giving me the education I need.  My parents have never been so proud to see so many good grades coming from a homeschool program.

I especially liked and appreciated all of the instructors’ positive comments, feedback and helpful hints on my son’s exams.  You cannot put a price tag on a high school diploma, although I felt the fees were quite reasonable.  I’m really thankful that there is a back-up plan for students who are lacking credits to graduate.
