It’s July 30, and American businessman Henry Ford was born on this date in 1863. You probably know him best as the man who founded the Ford Motor Company, but his innovations, which included assembly lines and the 40-hour work week, extend far beyond the automotive industry. The Henry Ford museum complex in Dearborn, Michigan near Detroit is well worth a visit if you are in Michigan and interested in seeing artifacts that came about as a result of innovations by Henry Ford and many others. American School is an innovator as well. We were among the first schools to offer high school correspondence courses and were the first distance learning school to receive regional accreditation. As times changed we added online high school courses to our curriculum and produced online exams for students taking our paper-based high school courses. Most recently we added an accredited middle school program. We continue to evolve and innovate and we want that process to include you. Enroll today!
