It’s January 4, and Utah became a state on this date in 1896. When people think of Utah, they may think of it as the home of many members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and so today’s blog is going to talk about American School’s views on religion. American School is a secular institution which welcomes students and families from all religious backgrounds. Our courses are written from a secular point of view, which gives families the freedom to supplement our accredited middle school courses and accredited high school courses with whatever religious beliefs they choose. We understand that sometimes families have questions or concerns about some sensitive material that might be included in our middle school courses and high school courses, and we will do our best to accommodate their concerns. That said, all of our courses are written to state and regional standards, and some material must be covered in school per those standards. We enjoy serving students in Utah and in 49 other states, and we would be happy to serve you as well. Enroll today!
