It’s February 15, and the current Canadian flag was adopted on this date in 1965.  Although the red and white flag with a red maple leaf in the center is almost synonymous with Canada, our neighbors to the north didn’t have an official flag until this one debuted 57 years ago today.  Today’s blog is a reminder that we are proud to serve students in Canada and other foreign countries, but we strongly suggest foreign students take online middle school courses or online high school courses.  The reason for this strong suggestion is that additional shipping costs and long customs delays can make sending middle school correspondence courses and high school correspondence courses difficult and could delay students getting into a good rhythm of receiving and completing courses.  All students can designate their preferred course delivery method when they enroll, and we will do our best to accommodate you.  Thank you for your understanding, and just as Canadians are proud of their maple leaf flag, we are also proud to serve our students whether you live in the United States, Canada, or elsewhere.
