It’s July 26, and New York became a state on this date in 1788. We are happy to serve students who live in New York and any of the other 49 states, but we wish to remind you that some states, including New York, have educational standards that might be different than ours. When you enroll in our high school diploma program, your program will follow Illinois standards and the standards set by our regional accrediting bodies in part because we are located in Illinois. We recommend checking with your state board of education to see if any additional courses or credits are needed, especially if you plan to attend a state-run university in your home state and plan to get financial aid. We want you to get the most out of your accredited high school program, and checking with your state board of education is one way to make that happen. Thank you for understanding, and thank you for making us your distance education high school.
