The Australian Open tennis tournament concludes this weekend in Melbourne, and so today is the perfect time to look back at some successes American School students have had in the land Down Under. On the men’s side, Andre Agassi is a four-time singles champion, taking home titles in 1995, 2000, 2001 and 2003. His four titles at the Australian Open account for half of his eight career Grand Slam singles titles. On the women’s side, Mary Pierce took home the singles title in 1995, and Caroline Wozniacki did the same in 2018.
