It’s February 21, and today is Mardi Gras. It also goes by other names such as Fat Tuesday or Shrove Tuesday, but no matter what you call it, many people view today as a day to indulge in sweets before the beginning of Lent. For many of us who work at American School, our favorite Mardi Gras treat is paczki, which are bismarcks stuffed with a variety of fillings. Popular fillings include prune, which is a traditional flavor, cheese, apricot, custard, raspberry, strawberry, blueberry, cherry, lemon, apple and even chocolate! We mention the varieties of paczki fillings because American School offers even more variety among our accredited middle school courses and accredited high school courses. Students choose from many courses in broad subject areas like English, math, science, social studies, business, fine arts and world languages, and that variety ensures there is something for everyone. Experience our variety by enrolling today. We would be happy to help you with all your homeschooling needs!
