American School graduate Travis Pastrana recently raced in his first Daytona 500 and had a strong 11th place finish in the Great American Race. Although he didn’t take the checkered flag first, we are proud of Travis for trying something new and doing quite well at it. Travis is best known as a motocross and action sports driver, but he stepped out of his comfort zone and called competing in the Daytona 500 “one of the most exciting things I’ve ever done.” Becoming an American School student might be stepping out of your comfort zone, especially if you’ve attended traditional schools for many years and are now a homeschool student for the first time, but like Travis we are confident you will do quite well. Students in our accredited middle school program and accredited high school program work at their own pace, so they don’t have to worry about getting passed by other students. Our students can also take pit stops whenever they’d like and pick up on their courses right where they left off whenever they decide to start studying again. Take the green flag and enroll with American School today. All of us look forward to serving you!
