It’s June 20, and West Virginia became a state on this date in 1863. West Virginia uses the phrase “Almost Heaven, West Virginia” as a tourism slogan, and the phrase is also part of a famous song by John Denver from the 1970s, but over the years many of our students have found American School also to be almost heaven. That’s because we allow them to work at their own pace on their courses. Our students work independently but they are never alone. Our caring staff and knowledgeable instructors are there to assist them whenever our students need help. It’s one of the many ways we make distance learning as personal as possible for students in West Virginia and the other 49 states. If you’re looking for an accredited middle school program, accredited high school program or independent study program for credit recovery or enrichment, enroll with American School today. We’ll do our best to make your experience almost heaven too!
