It’s August 10, and Missouri became a state on this date in 1821.  Missouri’s nickname is The Show-Me State, and so today’s blog contains a reminder about showing work in your math courses.  When you take a math course in your accredited middle school program or accredited high school program, we ask that you show all of your work.  Doing so lets your instructor know how well you’ve mastered the material and allows your instructor to give partial credit on a problem if you know some of the steps but fail to get the correct answer.  All of us want to see you do your very best, and showing your work allows us to give you the best instruction possible.  Thank you for making us your distance education middle school or distance education high school if you live in Missouri or any other state.  We’re happy to have you as our student!
