It’s May 1, which means that the traditional school year is ending soon.  This is the time of year that we often hear from students in traditional schools who wish to take our accredited high school courses for credit recovery or enrichment during the summer.  Many times these students will ask us when our “summer school” classes start and end, and the answer is that there are no official start or end dates to our courses.  That’s because we allow students to enroll in our independent study program for credit recovery or enrichment whenever they choose, and the end date of the course is determined strictly by enrollment date and terms of the enrollment contract.  In general, students in semester courses have six months from the enrollment date to complete the course, while students in full-year courses have twelve months from the enrollment date to complete the course, though their schools may give them earlier deadlines for course completion.  Because our courses are rigorous, we recommend that any student who intends to take one of our courses in place of summer school enroll as quickly as possible.   We look forward to serving you!
