It’s August 20, and Benjamin Harrison was born on this day in 1833. He was the 23rd President of the United States and his home is located just a few hours away from American School in downtown Indianapolis. Over the years this blog has encouraged homeschooling students who take our accredited middle school courses or accredited high school courses to visit presidential homes, libraries and museums as a way of making their courses come to life. The Benjamin Harrison site is no exception. Please consider including it on your itinerary the next time you visit the Hoosier State.
