In November 2025 American School participated in a virtual accreditation visit with representatives of Middle States Association-Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools. At the conclusion of that visit, we were told we would be recommended for reaccreditation but that the normal reaccreditation process could take some time. In Spring 2026 we officially received word that we were reaccredited by MSA-CESS and with that reaccreditation also comes reaccreditation by Accreditation International (Ai) and the National Council for Private School Accreditation (NCPSA). We are grateful for these reaccreditations which attest to the fact that we offer quality courses and services to those homeschooling students who wish to do at home middle school or at home high school with us. We were the first distance education high school to receive regional accreditation, and accreditation has been and always will be something that is very important to us.
