It’s July 6, and two days ago the United States of America celebrated its 250th birthday. It was a time to look back at what has transpired in this country since its founding in 1776 and look ahead toward the next 250 years. It was also a time of great patriotism and pride in all the good the United States has done in its existence. Those of us at American School are proud to include the word American in our name, and we’d like to think we’ve contributed in some small way to the success of the United States by educating more than 3 million people since our founding in 1897. We are happy so many people from all 50 states have chosen to homeschool with us and have made us their distance learning middle school or distance learning high school, and we are looking forward to serving many more in the years to come.
