The Australian Open tennis tournament is underway in Melbourne, and so today is a good opportunity for us to look back at the success of some American School students and graduates who participated in the event in the past. Our biggest champion Down Under is Andre Agassi, who won the men’s singles title four times—in 1995, 2000, 2001 and 2003. Those four titles account for half of his eight career Grand Slam titles. On the women’s side Mary Pierce was champion in 1995 and runner-up in 1997, and Caroline Wozniacki took home her lone Grand Slam title at the Australian Open in 2018. We are proud of Andre, Mary, Caroline and all of our students who have participated in the Australian Open over the years, but we are proud of all of our students whatever their accomplishments might be. We would be proud to have you as our student too, but you have to enroll in our accredited middle school program, accredited high school program or independent study program first. Get started today. We would be happy to serve you!
