American School and the Summer Olympics

It’s July 28, and the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles opened on this date 39 years ago.  The 2024 Summer Olympics will open exactly 52 weeks from today on July 26, 2024 in Paris, and so today we’re going to look back at the success of two American School students at the Summer Olympics.  Andre Agassi won a gold medal in tennis in 1996 in Atlanta.  Swimmer Katie Hoff competed in the 2004 games in Athens and the 2008 games in Beijing, where she earned a silver medal in the 400 meter freestyle and bronze medals in the 400 individual medley and the 4 x 200 meter freestyle relay.  We are proud of Andre and Katie, but we are proud of all our students who take our accredited middle school courses or accredited high school courses no matter their pursuits.  We invite you to go for the gold and enroll in our accredited middle school program or accredited high school program today.   All of us would be happy to serve you!

I found all the material and methods extremely satisfying.  It made the classes simple enough to learn while still being able to enjoy the process!  I spent my first two years of high school in a public school, but American School made it an enjoyable experience while still giving me the education I need.  My parents have never been so proud to see so many good grades coming from a homeschool program.

I especially liked and appreciated all of the instructors’ positive comments, feedback and helpful hints on my son’s exams.  You cannot put a price tag on a high school diploma, although I felt the fees were quite reasonable.  I’m really thankful that there is a back-up plan for students who are lacking credits to graduate.
