The 2024 Summer Olympics are underway in Paris, and so today’s blog is going to mention two American School students who won medals at previous Summer Olympics. Andre Agassi won a gold medal in men’s singles tennis in 1996. Katie Hoff swam in the 2004 and 2008 Summer Olympics. She won a silver medal in the 2008 400 meter freestyle and bronze medals in the 2008 400 meter individual medley and 4 x 200 meter freestyle relay. We are proud of Andre and Katie but we are proud of all of our students who go for the gold everything they do even if they never set foot on a tennis court or dive into a pool.
