It’s September 7, and we are down to four men’s semifinalists and four women’s semifinalists in the singles competition of the U.S. Open tennis tournament. American School students have reached this round many times over the years, but some have gone one or two rounds further. On the men’s side, Andre Agassi won the event in 1994 and 1999 and was runner-up in 1990, 1995, 2002 and 2005. On the women’s side, Caroline Wozniacki was runner-up in 2009 and 2014, and Mary Pierce was runner-up in 2005. Over the years, many tennis players have taken American School’s accredited high school courses because of the flexibility we give our students. No matter your tennis skills, all students can work on their online high school courses or high school correspondence courses when and where they want. If that means they study in a hotel or practice center because they’re traveling the world playing tennis, so be it. If that means they study in a more traditional setting, so be it. Either way, we are happy to serve tennis players and we would be happy to serve you too. Enroll today!
